None of the buttons fell off. Toad had sewed them on very well.

Toad took a deep bow.

Frog looked smaller as he shouted, “Hooray for Toad!”

A short reminder—

White people exist because a few Black people faded.

I hope this small but important fact helps you get through your day with some perspective.

Had to clamber over a barbed wire fence, rip my coat and trespass to get a photo of this folkloric monster pretending half-successfully to be a tree. I have no regrets.

I’m not completely anti-capitalist. Some people are clearly motivated by money & nothing but. I don’t get it, but I can’t pretend they don’t exist.

That’s why you have to have ceilings, & why the economic health of a nation needs to have as much to do with the poorest citizens as with the richest.

Anyone who places blame squarely and solely on PM Albanese's shoulders for the Bondi terror attack is doing a disservice to themselves, Australians, and Jewish safety. It was not his fault and to suggest as much is psychotic. The behaviour towards him at the Bondi vigil was disgraceful #AusPol

A cynophobic postman is found drowned in a mug of English breakfast tea. Suspicion falls on Shitlingthorpe’s pastor, frightened that white supremacists might threaten to burn every catalogue of London’s inter-dimensional gateways.

“Frog,” cried Toad, “can you do tricks like this?”

“No,” peeped Frog, who looked very, very small.

Albo just got booed at the memorial for the victims of the Bondi Beach shooting.

I immediately felt sick.

I’m also angry that this tragedy has been so politicised.

Albo is not to blame. The Labor government is not to blame.

Hateful extremists ARE to blame.

We need unity. Not more hate.

In Celtic lore the crow is associated with the Cailleach, the goddess or hag who personifies winter and the landscape. The Cailleach is often depicted with a crow as a companion, or having the ability to transform into one, linking her to themes of death, fate, and prophecy.

Frog and Toad went for a walk.

Toad did not trip over a rock. He did not bump into a tree. He did not fall in a hole.

Toad opened his present from Frog. It was a beautiful new clock. The two friends sat by the fire.

The hands of the clock moved to show the hours of a merry Christmas Eve.

First I couldn't get the photo I wanted due to glare, then the power went out entirely!
So I stole @jodyvanb.bsky.social 's pic. I was going to feature her Phoenix wing first but I found this one while I was looking for it so... here's her Peregrine falcon, now framed!
