Amazing how many Tor-um-Reformers are so cross at how "broken" Britain is.

IF ONLY WE COULD FIND THE GUYS THAT DID THIS!! 🙃

I keep catching strays from "technology is neutral" people, so let's set things straight.

1) Technology is not neutral, especially the subset of technology called "algorithms"
2) The form-factor that makes a technology into a tool is not neutral
3) How tools are productized is not neutral

Watch any game of professional men's rugby and you will see at least a dozen boxkicks. And yet, they've become the most derided part of the game. So we sat down with Ben Youngs, a man who has possibly maybe hung more of them than anybody else in history, to dig in...

I need to hire a web designer who’s familiar with Astro to make a rebuild of the protect.earth website look like the current site or ideally better. I’m sick of Squarespace and I’ve got the implementation done but you need to make it look good. Looking for a fairly prompt turnaround on this one.
Protect Earth | Planting trees to save the earth
Our purpose is simple: we aim to plant, and help people plant, as many trees as possible in the UK to help mitigate the climate crisis.

I always find it funny that we (globally) just accept that one country's regulator speaks for all of us.

FCC approves another 7,500 space vermin, like Low Earth Orbit is the authority of the FCC and we've all been consulted and ok'd another 7,500 starlinks in our shared sky.

It should be UNOOSA.

Beware those who want to bring this system here
I fell off a ladder in August. The bill for the 1.7 mile ambulance ride is $4387.31.

Our $4500 per MONTH Cigna insurance won’t pay more than $600, because the ambulance is out of network.

There are no in-network ambulances in our county, and I was unconscious when it was called.

So what if they weaken ECHR human rights protections? So what if they interpret protection from torture differently? Will that improve services? Help the NHS? Bring better food, air & education? Eradicate poverty?
Crushing rights is the most destructive distraction from the wrongs that need fixing.
