I was sent this video of agents at her door:

Sun pillar this morning from Chesterfield County!

Normally seen at sunrise or sunset when it is very cold, the sun is bending through a small layer of hexagonal ice crystals — high in the sky and toward the distant horizon.

Apple & Google removed ICE tracking apps in their app stores.

TikTok reportedly suppressed videos criticizing ICE & the shooting of Alex Pretti.

Meta blocked Facebook groups tracking ICE & links to a database of agents that the government wants to keep secret.

Federal agents cornered Marimar Martinez, shot her several times, boasted about it, arrested her, lied about her to the public and in the police report, and falsely charged her with assaulting them.

Now the government wants to keep evidence of their lies secret to protect these agents' "privacy."
DeWald cites "privacy interests" for an "agent number 3" and his body worn camera as one of the govt's concerns over making the case material piblic, among other issues.

ICE's decision to just leave cars abandoned in the roads is one of those dystopian things that makes you recoil in shock when you encounter it.
A legal asylum-seeker who works at Chipotle and plays music at a church in Maine went missing. His pastor searched and searched, eventually finding his abandoned car with the keys on the floor.

ICE grabbed him. No criminal record. No explanation.

In theater. So they think they’re at war.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

So...... this seems real bad.

The FBI executed a sealed search warrant today on a key Atlanta area election office - and wouldn't say what that warrant was for.

"A source told FOX the FBI was there to take custody of Fulton County election ballots from 2020."

Since we published this, Pam Bondi's X account has started posting mugshots of Minnesotans arrested for impeding ICE/CBP. Sharing a defendant's photo publicly in this way is forbidden under DOJ rules

This is also interesting: Rep Jamie Raskin is demanding that Pam Bondi and DOJ reveal who precisely was responsible for the decision that FBI won't investigate ICE murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. A Dem House can use subpoena power to ferret this out:

This is embarrassingly on-the-nose textbook “psychology of fascism” stuff. Bitter, impotent tools getting to feel powerful by proxy watching brutality done on their behalf.
Tim Pool: “I’m not licking the boot. It’s my boot. I voted for it. I’m the one stomping…”

This mindset is genuinely pathetic.

It’s an alpha fantasy: watching state violence and imagining you’re exercising power rather than the one submitting to it.

The major difference is that the feds are now the murderers and state & local police must decide if they will investigate and prosecute.

The right is calling protesters and observers of ICE violence an “insurgency” to dehumanize the people of Minneapolis, and also to normalize the image of protesters being suppressed by the U.S. military or militarized federal forces.
Then there’s…this. This is a news article, not an op ed. I reviewed Fox’s December 2019-March 2020 COVID coverage in their online news section and it didn’t throw in shit like this, even since then they’ve deteriorated

I just hear the word “warfighting” on NPR. (Re: a fired Chinese general who had “warfighting” experience.) I think of this as a military jargon term Pete Hegseth used a lot in 2025 to shorthand disdain for Geneva Conventions and values of civil society. Why would a news org adopt fascist jargon?
