Regarding the 176 wind turbines Dominion is building offshore from Virginia Beach....

For a sense of scale:

One single rotation of the blades — on an individual turbine — generates enough electricity to power an average American home all day long.
a) they're not "windmills" (e.g., to mill grain); they're modern wind TURBINES to produce power
b) new solar & wind power are cleaner & cheaper than new fossil-fired power
c) other countries are racing ahead on clean energy; we should be doing so as well bluevirginia.us/2025/11/virg...

“Today’s SCC decisions make one thing clear... Virginia’s elected leaders should focus on reforming our system of energy planning and oversight to more effectively place the public interest at the core of our energy decisions.” - Brennan Gilmore, @cleanvirginia.org
The Virginia State Corporation Commission, which regulates the utility, said its decision would ultimately increase the average resident’s electric bill by $11.24 in 2026 and $2.36 in 2027.

They also approved a $4,500,000,000 fossil gas plant adjacent to Dominion's Dutch Gap facility.

“Under the (Virginia) Clean Economy Act there was a moratorium on new gas plants and Dominion was to phase out all existing gas and coal plants by 2045. In this first test of this law, the SCC has failed.” - @glenbesa.bsky.social

A small set of weather data leans to possible snow between Tuesday and Wednesday next week in Richmond (Dec 2-3). While the pattern is favorable, the risk is higher west toward the Shenandoah Valley.

Even there, far more data needs to come in over the next 1-2 days to take the threat seriously.

I hope folks realize that between Trump, Kushner, Hegseth, Witkoff, Noem, RFK, Jr., Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard, this country is almost entirely undefended.
Q: Have you heard this audio that Bloomberg has of Witkoff coaching the Russians on how to appeal to you?

TRUMP: That's a standard thing. He's gotta sell this to Ukraine, he's gonna sell Ukraine to Russia. That's what a dealmaker does. I haven't heard it but I heard it was standard negotiation.

Trump, Hegseth, and Republicans think their meltdown shows strength, but it’s the opposite. They’re showcasing decorated Democratic veterans like Mark Kelly who make them look small and petty. They should pay more attention to lowering grocery prices than ridiculous threats of court-martialing.

I like Tom.

Despite his opinion on Led Zeppelin.

But this kinda counts more.
Pete Hegseth is right: Mark Kelly shouldn't be a senator.

He should take Hegseth's job and be SECDEF.

I'll be on MSNOW at 4pm to talk more about it.
