In 2023, CBP killed a young Black girl that they imprisoned by incarcerating her and failing to provide the needed medical care for her sickle cell anemia

You cannot reform this apparatus which kills people no matter which party is in charge

This is a big no-no in armed combat.

It’s like dressing up as a doctor or a nurse and then shooting someone.

If this is proven accurate, it’s 100% a war crime.
Breaking NYT:

The Pentagon used a secret aircraft painted to look like a civilian plane in its first boat attack, according to officials briefed on the matter.

The laws of armed conflict forbid combatants from feigning civilian status.

That is a war crime called "perfidy."

I say this often but it bears repeating: if you make your money from creating art then you NEED to find an art or craft where you just do it for fun and don't try to be perfect or make any money from it, and when anyone tells you to monetise it you say 'No', because otherwise your soul will die.

Muting a Black woman to claim the vote was unanimous is so incredibly on the nose
The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

Read this thread. This is what @katmabu.bsky.social was protesting, and why she repeatedly says getting beaten up by ICE outside is nothing compared to the torture and crimes being committed inside Broadview. These thugs must be held to account.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

No it’s important to listen to this. Because then you understand that many of them will do ANYTHING to keep power. Remember Musk got involved in the 2024 election after saying to Tucker “if she wins” I am definitely going to prison.

So we need to move knowing that nothing is off the table for them.

And now the law is upheld.

It's RACISM, rather than xenophobia!

What LOOKS like prejudice against people who live, or used to live, in other countries, is just another version of RACISM.

No MAGA ever suggested deporting Elon Musk or Melania Trump, even though they were born in other countries & both broke their visa rules.
This article👇 gets Trump/Vance/MAGA all wrong!

Trump/Vance/MAGA oppose ANY NON-WHITES being in the US - undocumented or documented or CITIZENS. They are just fine with WHITES coming to the US - look at the "refugee" allowance for WHITE South Africans & Europeans.

This statement by JD Vance is no different from the people who claimed it’s “totally reasonable and acceptable” for white folks to not want Black people in their neighborhoods

Or to enact covenants which exclude Jews and Italians

It’s blatant racism-coming from the very top of the US government
