My "friends" asked me, the recovered Eve Online addict, "Hey lets see if Elite Dangerous is a fun multi player game these days?" I'm sure this will go fine.

Y'all ever think about how in FFXI if you play a Bard you have to learn your songs individually from individual NPCs in separate towns effectively making you a wandering minstrel and holy shit that's some insanely good RPG design how did that get into an MMO

If you're not trans, I don't think I can fully explain how important this is.

It's so powerful that one of the most circulated science media publications in the world has come out and said "trans children are real and providing transition care improves their lives." That's groundbreaking.
The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

First-of-a-kind study shows encouraging data for trans kids who socially transition
Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

I spent a delightful afternoon with A Garden of Spheres yesterday. It is a beautiful book and the color pages are stunning. The story odd, sparse, and scattered. I ate it up. Lots of cool dragons too. Look I'm easy.

NEW GGP!! this movie is strange and makes a lot of Choices but it’s way more interesting than i’d always heard! we have a great discussion about it:
A new episode of GGP! Gundam gets the week off as we watch the 2000 movie version of Escaflowne! I had always heard this movie was bad but came away mostly enchanted and thoughtful about its priorities as an adaptation www.patreon.com/posts/great-...

It's wild to me that Straftat never blew up huge. It feels primal in way that thought it have it's week as the streamer game.

I played Straftat four or five times a week almost every month of the whole year.

It's THAT GOOD, and it's FREE!

It's one of the best ways to spend 20-60 minutes online with your friends. Please go try it!

A 'Cheat Sheet' for a BBS in 1986 with menu shortcuts, who the SysOp is, and user details - including how long they're able to stay connected in minutes.

Having had BBS experiences this year with my C64 via a modern Telnet modem, I've got similar details written down in a notepad.
