As an incoming literature PhD student, I can tell you it’s not just science grads who are going abroad!
There is a strange lack of Democratic resistance to measures that will destroy our country’s environmental policies. It’s demoralizing to those of us who want to see a greener/bluer future. 💔

@scrippsocean.bsky.social's research helps protect our national security, economy, and human health and fight the climate crisis. But now, NIH and NSF grants have been cut off. Grad students are applying for jobs abroad. We are losing the future of science and innovation.
