Dr. Kirk Moore did not deny giving fake COVID-19 vaccine cards and throwing out vaccine doses. “All that stuff is true,” he told @sltrib.com and ProPublica.

He also repeatedly made the unfounded claim that the vaccines were “bioweapons.”

No document will protect you. All they have to do is take it from you and "lose" it; take it from you and say you never gave it to them; claim it's fake ⬇️; make a new rule that you need ANOTHER document. Citizenship is a made-up status that governments decide the rules for. No one is free until all.
Dulce Consuelo Diaz Morales was born in Maryland. She has a valid U.S. birth certificate, medical and immunization records, and sworn affidavits.

Yet, ICE claims her documents are “not authentic” and has held her in immigration detention for days.

Reclassifying marijuana is a welcome step toward aligning federal policy with science, evidence, and the reality of its legalization in many states.

We still need to fully legalize marijuana nationwide and to get justice for the communities harmed by the disastrous war on drugs.
Trump signs executive order fast-tracking reclassification of marijuana
The order does not legalize marijuana, but reclassification would allow the FDA to study it for medical purposes.

Whenever I talk about antisemitism, colleagues message me and say some version of “I know lots of Jewish people and none of them seem to think this is a problem.”

No. None of them trust you enough to discuss this problem with you. That’s not the same thing as “none of them think this is a problem”

Agreed. I’ve done both formal and informal training in “social science” methods as a “natural” scientist but it’s impossible to convince grant reviewers that I can do the analysis I want to do. So I don’t even get the chance to publish. I wish people would stop gatekeeping methodology.
I think actually we should encourage interdisciplinarity and astronomy has a history of welcoming outsiders to help us solve computational problems especially but this is why it’s important for peer review to work correctly. If you’re new to a discipline, submit to standard journals in *that* field.
Beware natural scientists doing social science

You wouldn't trust an economist doing physics or chemistry or astronomy. So don't trust the reverse
