Math teacher and most hardcore Detroit City FC fan in Virginia. Personal account, views are my own.
I had been using a lot of DeltaMath for the last couple of years, but this week I tried creating some really nice Kuta worksheets that I edited on my iPad to make some of the problems worked examples, and it went really well.

I think I've been underusing Kuta.

I've never actually tried for a culture victory in Civ 6, but clearly these folks have never even played Civ, sheesh.
It's like they are actively trying to kill the tourist industry.

Are we so sure it's even matter that is having a gravitational effect on galaxies? Have people proposed other ideas, like some other structure that is having an effect?

just riffing on this, in 1944 my grandad's friend Paddy, who would go on to become a very distinguished writer, kidnapped a German general in occupied Crete and took him up into the mountains with a resistance team, from where he was sent on to the UK by submarine. Now, up in the mountains ...

FL-HD-90: Dems hold blue-leaning district, outperforming 2024 by 17 and, perhaps more importantly, beating 2020 by 6

Curious if you've read the article and have any thoughts @mpershan.bsky.social , since I know you've written about grades vs SAT's in the past.
This article is why I'm skeptical that eliminating SAT's in favor of grades will really pan out. Grade inflation to easily aligns with the short-term incentives of people in k12.

UCSD released a report on their own students showing:
*25% of students got 7 + 2 = ___ + 6 wrong
*61% of students couldn’t round 374,518 to the nearest hundred
*37% of students couldn't subtract fractions
It does make me wonder what percentage of students understood the report.

I want to highlight this from my post. There are lots of perfectly good explanations for "why" are tied to the particulars of the specific case. I think an important part of teaching any subject is pushing everyone to step towards generalization.
