I’m teaching a class on bureaucracy and good governance this semester and Project 2025 is *right there* calling for the dismantling of the federal bureaucracy and return to a spoils system—it’s hard to not sound like I’m volunteering for the Harris campaign when teaching standard public admin stuff
One of the most frustrating things about U.S. politics is that people who aren’t engaging with it much will look at you like you’re some kooky leftist propagandist if you simply outline what the Republican Party is doing wherever it is in charge and explicitly promises to be doing in the future.

This is catastrophically bad.
We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.
