All beer is good, some are just better

Beer and mead judge making jokes and lessons
I'm not anti-TTRPG, it's just a different homebrew

I might know a thing or two about #beer!
Post something random or you'll have an awful December.

Haven't even been here 45 minutes and my brother started complaining about Guardian Caps ruining the sport of football.
This guy was a 2nd string long snapper for a D3 school. I think these professional players should really take his opinion to heart and think about it.

My hottest take is that the Wisconsin one IS the good one.
Overheard just now: “I’ll have the Old Fashioned—not the Wisconsin one, the good one.”

What are you serving for Thanksgiving drinks?
I've got Aldi Savigon Blanc wine, homebrew cyser (apple mead) and de garre Belgian tripel for the main dish.
Samosa or Black Forest Cake imperial milk stouts for dessert.
And Malört for anyone who brings up already disproven Republican talking points.

The Wisconsin Old Fashioned is a fine drink. But people would be less judgy if they called it a Brandy Fruit Punch versus the name of another drink a bunch of cocktail bros decided to base their entire personality over.

First pull from my #homebrew Holiday Saison
Phenolic from the yeast, toasty caramel from the malt, orange peel, cinnamon and vanilla whiffs from the seasonings
A delicious #beer that I can't wait to share!

TTRPG game idea:
OSR funnel of the villager militia in 7 Samurai.

Best wine for Thanksgiving?
Savigon Blanc, next question.
Why is it the best? Oh, well, that'll take me 1:45 to explain.

I know it's just an old tech cable, but it just feels wrong to have a double ended USB-A

There is a post circulating on Bluesky encouraging the moving of a frozen turkey straight into a pot of hot oil. We are combating this misinformation the best way we know how - through the power of dance music.

Your gen AI video is boring and so are you
There's an extra irony of it because the people I follow are homebrew beer and mead creators. So you're telling me a computer is more interesting than what you're making with your own hands as you shepherd yeast.

If you get an erection during a funeral, is that considered mourning wood?

Homebrew Holiday Saison update!
Kegged it Thursday, cranked the gas, sampled it tonight.
Properly carbonated, light spice and orange (might increase both for next time) hinted at and paired with the farmhouse yeast. Caramel malts not overwhelming, but missing something.

This is as close to No Nuance November as I'm willing to get anymore.
Beer was invented.
Wine and mead, discovered.

To everyone who says there's no such thing as white culture. Please explain this ranch pump next to the ketchup and mustard in the condiment dispenser.

With the release of Epstein's own email calling Trump by name and the swearing in of Rep. Adelita Grijalva, I hope you're all ready for a Venezuelan ground invasion cause he's gonna need a big distraction from this.

There's 4 kinds of sentence breaks in order of how related they are to the sentence.
First is 2 commas, like this, which run in line and adds more info.
Next is the em dash - often confused as written by AI by people who can't hold two thoughts at once - which isn't necessary, but it's related.

You can totally just bring Bond back like nothing happened. But we're only allowed one hand wave like this because it's already been set that
You Only Live Twice
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

A "promise for a future vote" is not funding for the ACA rebates.
Republicans are better at shutdown negotiations because they ultimately don't care about anyone else. That's why they can hold the line while people are starving and medical care is being priced out of reach.

"Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"

It's about to be winter and, as someone who routinely cut for wrestling, skinny feels cold. You're always cold. So get extra cheese on your garlic bread, you want that insulation.
