Is it too late for the Danes to send the King and/or his unflappable mum Queen Margrethe II to distract Trump? Maybe the "Nana says no" approach will work?
My money is on King Frederik X of Denmark who spent three years in our maritime special operations force as a frogman, the equivalent to a Navy Seal. He has a special bond with Greenland, too, having done a four-month tour in Northern Greenland with former members of the Sirius Dog Sled Patrol.
