Golden hour hike on Morgan Trail near Lake Elsinore... One of my favorite trails in SoCal, because it's one of the few that give you the feeling to hike in a forest!

Keys View
Joshua Tree National Park

Your gaze follows the land as it opens wide.
Stillness gathers where horizon meets sky.
The quiet expands without hurry.
You move within nature’s spirit and the desert’s soul.

Joshua Tree National Park

Walk far enough and the world softens.
Let the land guide your pace.
Every ridge offers a new way to breathe.
Adventure grows in the space you give it.
Nature speaks in wind, stone, and silence.

Indiana Dunes State Park was also where every Prothonotary Warbler in the Midwest was hanging out in May. If you didn't get to see one, so sorry, they were all at the marsh boardwalk. This one looks like it just got out of the bath. 😊🧵 #birds

Indiana Dunes National Park! We climbed up and down 490 stairs to West Beach, felt the waters of Lake Michigan on our feet, and meandered through the Great Marsh Trail.

Some great friends took me up to the Smoky Mountains today via the legendary windy-road the “Dragon”. I’ve probably been there once in the past 50 years and it was wonderful.1 problem: the loss of $$ for National Parks means untidy rest areas & overgrowth that blocks the magnificent views🥺
