On the other positives ones, moreso personally, I'm again quite happy to wait and have more time to a) save up for a console rental/new GPU and b) finally get around to Red Dead 2+1 before this (as well as still being in the process of completing old GTAs on PC after originally playing on PS2/360).

This is good and gets to much of what I was trying to say above. After a couple of fairly eh (from a neutral POV) Dodgers championships with the half-season pandemic one in 2020 and the aforementioned Yankees seppuku last year, this was a far more iconic success.

This is one of those things that I didn't notice it at the time, but my brain probably did. There's so many details in this movie that really sell the illusion that these cartoon characters are interacting with real people. You're caught up in the world and don't question it.

Lighting and storyboarding and animation and staging and soundtrack and mixing and color grading and acting and directing all had to show up and it had to have been a mega pain in the ass and it's perfect. It's a perfect movie. They literally don't make them like this anymore.

Fourth time already this very young season that SGA has scored 30+ points without needing to play in the 4th quarter. Again, absurd luxury areas.

Not to give a simple pass to ZM as such, but the level of deep reflex paranoia and aversion to anything of a vaguely socialist nature in Yankland's main political and media thinking is maddeningly detrimental to the country's own long-term wellbeing and sustainability.

Allow me to suspend Saudi Arabia from all international football, move World Cups where I think they should be played, setup some World Nations League for all national teams, fuck up the UCL and make it more like the old EC, get P&R happening in the A-League, dissolve RB Leipzig. All the good shit.
