- Reading a bit of reaction, and in contrast to aforementioned midfielder (or CB being played there) on wrong side of 30, I'm (much) higher on Gorry here than others. Among other really useful things that nobody else is still as good as doing, there's this turnover that should've led to a Kerr 1v1.

Or, to put the conundrum another way, also being wary of the tendency and problem of taking fewer risks/jumping into unknowns as one gets older vs. the increased wisdom and confidence in applying it for discerning what's most worth one's time and helps make one happier as one gets older

The disconcerting conflict of being wary of the detrimental effects of social/event anxiety and missing out on good stuff vs. concerns I do get far more often than not turning out to be well founded nowadays and appreciating missing out on disappointment and awkwardness I cbf having much of anymore.
