Today has been an absolute waste of my time.
Appt 1: called yesterday and was informed of date/time of appt (today). No showed.
Appt 2: was home but didn’t answer the door because they thought the dogs were barking at the construction.
Appt 3: is at dialysis and didn’t tell me.
Gas. Time. Wasted.

Back at work and it’s miserable. I got denied 1 day off (Friday Jan 2) so I wouldn’t work a split week, but okay. Eventually I’m just going to have so many vacation hours they’ll have to let me take time off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There’s still a LOT to sort through and stuff to throw out, donate, and organize, but this corner was my goal and I’m pretty happy with how much I got done.

We had plans for Friendsgiving & the place we were going to decided today to close. Mind you, I get closing and letting people be with family if they want. What I’m upset about is that they told us a week ago that they’d be open so I just stopped thinking about it.

I talked to my doctor about GLP1s for some weight loss help and my insurance won’t cover the cost because I’m not fat enough. Mind you, I am plenty fat and could benefit hugely from the medication. But my BMI is 1.2 under their threshold for coverage.
