Got me some floral foam, which is a mess to deal with, but creates some amazingly customizable mini shelves to stack the games two deep and be able to read everything.

There’s still a LOT to sort through and stuff to throw out, donate, and organize, but this corner was my goal and I’m pretty happy with how much I got done.

This is the current state of of this area of the house after spending almost 6 hours working on it yesterday. This doesn’t include everything I did on Saturday to even have the space to be here. 😭

We went to the Halloween decoration area in town here. It wasn’t as good as it was a few years ago but it was still fun. We had 2 sets of kids and that was it, so we gave away candy.

I know it was the right choice, I know that. But every time I walk into the craft room and she doesn’t meow makes me sad. I miss her messy chaotic ass.

I got Love (red and pink) and Hope (blue and light blue) in my first Big Into Energy boxes. I admit I have more coming so I’m hoping I get Luck (purple and light blue) from those. These Big Into Energy ones are super soft and fluffy.

She is loving, affectionate, and sweet. She will sleep on your lap or in your arms if you let her. She reaches out for you if you are petting her and try to walk away. Her belly is NOT a trap.

If there is anyone in Sacramento who is interested in an absolutely lovely cat let me know. I love her but we are not the right house for her. I tried to be!! And she will stay here until she finds another home. I won’t take her to the shelter.

Took a break for a day, but got a lot done today. So Day 3 progress and I have 2.5-ish rows left. Too bad it’s a bajillion stitches. Lol.

I’ve crocheted for, uh, 20+ years and I have never made a doily. So this is my first and it’d a different kind of pattern reading too. It’s hard because it’s such a small gauge but also fun af. This is about 1/4 done.

On my drive to work today I had a little jumping spider on the hood of my car. I was so worried but was on the freeway. The little spood clung for dear life and made it! When I tried to put it inside the car or somewhere else it was like “No lady no” and hide in the engine area.

On top of doing some fountain pen and glass pen repairs, I’ve been trying to learn how to do my own nib grinds. I’ve been wanted a monoline nib for a pen (and NOT a dip nib). It’s been interesting, to say the least. But I think I got it!
