Hello new followers! I'm your auntie who likes to remind you that you are enough.

I swear, I knit, I read and write romance and read almost anything, I am chronically ill. I post about anything and everything and fangirl over BTS and many other kpop groups. Kindness matters. Remember that.

An important read, if you want to be in community and/or personal relationship with people with ME/CFS:
Brutal truth: having a relationship with a person with ME requires a paradigm shift.

- we will not meet you halfway, bc we can’t. I give what I can, when I can, and the other party must close the gap. It’s unfair and obnoxious.

- we will often not back up our words with actions. Ex: I care
I'm glad they exist for a specific demographic. I'm really sad they have to exist at all.
I am now going to feed myself, shower, feed the dog, then write. I hope.
Yes! This!!!!!
I don't want a robot to make me feel better I want a world where more people learn to still love and stick by their disabled friends and are capable of making creative fun and of finding humor in tough times FUCK
"We're basically outsourcing empathy and outsourcing relationships to these machines without considering the consequences…”
So apparently I didn't set Freedom properly and just spent an hour investigating noise apps instead of writing because i am both distractible and hyper focusing lolsob
I am going to put on Freedom for a few hours and write on my phone because o broke my computer glasses so can't do any computer stuff. And right now I'm just scrolling social media and feeling guilty that I'm not being productive. Sigh.
I feel this way so often and am getting more behind each day. I wish there were better ways to care for bodies that fail us. And that the world was just more accepting and accommodating in general. We shouldn't have to feel lazy because we literally can't do all the things in this moment.
Koshersoul is so good. And I'm looking forward to his cookbook.
I love how the rap line just gets into the shoulder bounces. And how Namjoon just vibes with the song the entire way through.
First, read this article and consider ordering Michael Twitty's new cookbook.

Second, find yourself a copy of Koshersoul. And while you're at it find a copy of The Cooking Gene. Both books are true gifts and incredibly informative in an accessibly narrative kind of way.
The way chronic pain will totally fuck us up.

Oh wow, Rolling Stone going appropriately hard here. I did not have that on my 2025 bingo card.

Behold this gorgeousness!
An order of "Seafoam Warrior" in lace weight alpaloop and bobble chunky. A mix of thin and thick yarn that will work up in different but really cool ways. Based on a warrior from the #BookOfKells this is a gorgeous sea breezy colorway.

I can't wait to see how these work up. 🧶

Seeking book recs: transmasc authors of color, any genre, not YA (I already know of Thomas and Edgmon and Callender and am struggling to come up with someone who is not YA)

Please do no reply with transfem or white authors.

I need to have something on when I'm trying to concentrate: music, tv, podcasts I'm not actively paying attention to, an audiobook I've listened to a million times. Neurospicy brains just work different.

We're like cellphones, fall and we'll be broken, you know it too

- Hold Me Tight
Will check them out. Basic is often perfect.
Also, I do really hope today is a good day.
You are reminding me I need to get a SAD lamp and omg there are too many options. My depression and adhd and chronic pain can't make up their minds.
