Hi authors! Please remember to file a claim!
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.

@aptshadow.bsky.social is already (deservingly) lauded for his incredible sci-fi works, BUT I see very little love for his fantasy stories online. I absolutely LOVED Echoes of the Fall, enough to base my D&D character off of it, and Shadows of the Apt is just as compelling, (tho I am not yet done).

@rjbarker.bsky.social has done it again! Just finished The Forsaken (Gods of/Warlords of/Heart of the Wyrdwood), and it's incredible! It challenges worldview, it has nuanced and interesting characters, giant trees, strange creatures, and beautiful mysteries. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks a lot @rjbarker.bsky.social for making me send back a couple of long term library holds so I can focus on 'Heart of the Wyrdwood'.

PS - this series has it all: Lushness! Love! Courage! Fantasy! Cruelty! And wonderfully imagined characters. Do yourself a favor and check it out. 😘📖🌳

Hey friends, this book absolutely rocks! Dark, folk horror with religious magic and really really big trees!

Can't wait for book 3 latee this summer!
Hey hey! CANADIAN and US friends. GODS OF THE WYRDWOOD is a Kindle deal today, others'll be price matching. I took a quick look at Netgalley reviews of the last book and its all people being gobsmacked by where it goes. So if weird worldbuilding and strangeness are your thing...

I was thinking about the reader's journey through all three Wyrdwood books today and it probably goes a bit like this.

Book one: Wtf?
Book two: WTF?
Book Three: WTAF?

And relax.

It's my chunky folk-horror, post metal opus. Power Bleak. Forest Noir. I have many names for it. Some are secret

As an avid high fantasy lover, I did not expect for 2 of my favourite books to end up being love stories across time and space, so thank you @amalelmohtar.com and @maxgladstone.bsky.social for TIHYLTTW and @marklawrenceauthor.bsky.social for TBTWB for enlightening me 🧡

Sometimes you do judge books by their covers and oh my goodness I fell in love with these new covers at first sight, and the story so far matches the vibe perfectly. Thank you @pvbrett.bsky.social and Del Rey for these gorgeous puppies.

This was my first @rjbarker.bsky.social book, and it's one of if not the best "swashbuckling, seafaring yarn" I've ever read, an absolute 10/10 if you like fantasy and pirates/sailing.
There are lots of books that have sold more but I think every milestone should be celebrated. Keep voyaging, little book.

I wanna see a Pirates of the Carribean-esque adaptation of The Bone Ships (Tide Child), and a Scavenger's Reign-esque animated adaptation of Wyrdwood (The Forsaken).

@rjbarker.bsky.social is currently at 5 for 5 10/10 books for me, just wanted to share my appreciation!

I would like to give a company 'money' and own an 'item' in exchange

Instead of renting or subscribing to it for perpetuity and watching it degrade as I pay more for it every month

It is a shocking concept AND YET what if... it could work

Just finished The Warded Man by @pvbrett.bsky.social today, and wow I LOVED it. It was perfectly paced, gmwith great characters and an AMAZING world. The new paperbacks are also beautiful, and have the perfect vibe to match the story. First 10/10 of 2025.

The epilogue (and pacing in general) of Gods of the Wyrdwood was PERFECTLY executed to allow your brain to run away with it, but still hit you at the right time.

@rjbarker.bsky.social i can't wait to delve deeper into Wyrdwood, my only question: is it pronounced "word" or "weird" or "wired"?
