And now for some good news: My 15 1/2 yo cat does not have the big C! He has serious ibd though and will be on steroids for a while. He's putting on weight and feeling better already 🥳

Pay equity funeral march this morning in Nelson Whakatū. Well organised and attended. Poignant speeches from a nurse and a carer. Many photographers so hopefully the msg will get out there. At the end there were sausages, ballons for the kids and a stall helping folks to register to vote #nzpol

Off sick today with a bit of a cold, but I needed coffee, then I remembered there was a coffee shop down the road (about 40 km). It just so happened that some other lasses were going there for coffee too.

Nearly 12 hours after leaving home, I made it back. Queen Charlotte and Whangamoas was so much fun and a great road to get to know this Queen (well, she is black and yellow). I do have a numb bum though. Might be the first mod! 🏍🥰 roll on Summer!

Partner has flu and I've got a slight sore throat. I really hope I can fight this off by tomorrow as I'm supposed to be flying to Wellington to pick up my new motorbike and ride it home! 🏍🤞

My Fair Lady all done and packed out. That was the biggest and best show I've done in Nelson for quite some time. So much love, time and effort went I to every aspect of this show, and it played off. The hats, the costumes, set, lighting, sound. Thank you Nelson for coming out and supporting us!

A couple on weaving / crochet for my daughter and a writting book for me. I was also after a sewing one that shows you how make a pattern from your measurements. Had one borrowed from the library a while ago. It was awesome. Never saw it again! I'll try again when it's quieter during the week.

So I only just noticed that my #MWSecretSantaAoNZ had marked their gift as not naked, so I eagerly opened the package, and look! A lovely hand-written note. On the other side, a gorgeous drawing of my cat 🐈 😻 I feel like I've cheated a little bit and got my prezzie early! It's very 😎 Thanks Santa 🤩
