I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.

The downside: I am still worn out by the simplest tasks, coughing a little, runny nose. The upside: the yarn I ordered arrived and now I can make a full set of crocheted, chenille colored pencils. Wins and losses!

So here's where I am on day 11 of this stupid virus. I'm feeling about 50% human. I'm still coughing, but not all the time. So I sorted laundry & carried it downstairs & now I'm fully gassed. Short of breath, tired, coughing. Wear a mask at the store, friends! Don't get this flu.

I woke up with sore molars and a sore jaw this morning and realized that I must have been clenching my teeth in my sleep. Coughing hurts my poor abs so much, I assume I'm clenching my teeth when I cough? Do we cough in our sleep? I need all of this goo out of my head and lungs so I can sleep again!

My husband has caught my virus, but because he got vaccinated after we moved, it looks like he's having a much less horrible experience. In the meantime, I strained an abdominal muscle coughing last night. Get vaccinated, folks! The flu sucks!

All based on a “gotcha” video claiming that 3 daycares had no kids. One hadn’t opened yet for the day; one is actually closed. Dude arrived with no I.D. No call ahead. They DIDN’T LET HIM IN!

I'm still sick today but definitely on the mend after a night of horrifically painful migraines. Genuinely, I cannot recommend not getting the flu enough.
