I’m sorry I’m not single-handedly overthrowing the government. It’s just that I don’t own any weapons and I have a “thing” about dying. I go to the protests and do my best to help others but the people “on my side” have spent my entire life giving tanks to racist cops. They made video games about it

I never heard the Grateful Dead as a kid, I just read about it in books and saw them referenced in comics and I basically understood the music to be like. insane experimental cosmic rock and it was very funny to hear them as an adult and its like "what if a southern rock band just kept playing"

This is literally what they do whenever a Black person is killed by police. No matter how solid the evidence is, they will keep pushing that lie, not just to poison the conversation and make sure the killer walks free, but to reassert the political idea that these people deserve to be killed.
The shooting is shocking enough but the government's response is off the charts when you consider that this incident is forensically documented on video.

Savage Dragon can do things like have ICE acting like ICE and being horrible because it's not owned by something working closely with the CIA, the FBI, or the Army. Or, Warner Bros and Disney. A lot of indie comics could, really, but props to Erik Larsen for doing it.
