I'd love to see so many more Tolkien adaptations being made, but not if they're only more of the same! It's always odd to me when someone can't put aside their nostalgia for the LotR films even just enough to have an open mind about other interpretations of the material...

I've got so much admiration for what PJ and his team created, and for the cast for everything they put into making the original LotR films.
But it's been 25 years. We've got to let go of the idea that these actors must play these characters forever. Let new actors step in and have a chance too!

The only Hunt for Gollum movie I want is one about Legolas in Rivendell, where he's trying to find a good moment to tell everyone Gollum's escaped but keeps getting interrupted by the arrival of Boromir/Gimli and Gloin/yet more hobbits/Rangers/some message from Tom Bombadil nobody can decipher.
