I didn't like any of the last big budget Nolan movies. This year I have listened to the Emily Wilson Odyssey audio book. That makes me extremely wary, but I guess I will grudgingly watch this anyway.

Not sure Kasper Hjulmand gets enough credit for the excellent turnaround work he has done in Leverkusen.
There have been downs but certainly more ups with a brand new squad full of younger, untried (in Bundesliga terms anyway) players.

A ★★★ review of Ammonite (2020)
Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan are of course fantastic. I learned about Mary Anning, do that's good. But the Mary of the movie is a frustrating character. Why didn't she talk more?? Many people seem to have liked Portrait of a Lady on Fire better, but to me they are the same level. Watched on Blu-ray

I personally think there should be an option when you roll up to urgent care where you can write what you suspect your diagnosis is on a little paper before the doctor sees you and if you’re right you get a sticker

Not to go down this week's particular rabbit hole very deeply, but as a guy who was *in fact hiring Hollywood writers* between 2011 and 2018, four staffs in total, it seems a lot of smart commenters are missing I did not diversify my rooms to be woke, I diversified my rooms to have better rooms.
