Imo. No reply is required if someone tells you they wear a mask for the safety of their family. Or for any reason. It is absolutely fine to not say anything.

Might as well tell people to sit in the middle of a fast food restaurant and try to produce quality work.

Someone said Dansko clogs and agree the arch can hurt and they are hard shoes which require some break in. A softer alternative are clogs from Beartraps.

As someone who’s walked a lot on concreter floors for conferences, shoes with squishy soles, zero or low drop if possible. Also, if you have even minimally wide feet, a wide toe box.
Have a pair of Merrell sneakers with Vibram soles serve me well.

The HTB post reminded me of the journey with “support” I got during, and especially my first two to three years as a junior while thinking I was losing my mind pointing out toxic behaviors.
