November 21 2000, Sin & Punishment debuted on the N64 in Japan!

In a GIT GUD moment, Panel de Pon creator Hitoshi Yamagami directed the game for Nintendo...
When he expressed concerns about difficulty, Treasure responded that he shouldn't be supervising the game if he wasn't good enough to play it!

i liked birdcage a lot, but i honestly do agree with the majority of the criticisms of and negative reactions i've seen to the game. i still think its worth picking up and playing through

This is a very good comment in this screenshot

Something I would add onto it is

So much of the sex-negative feminists you see online that fell for a right-wing psyop a decade ago

Do not realize how many of the stuff they complain about in anime... was made by women as self-expression
id never post a youtube video again if i got a debunk this serious

I considered writing a long carefully constructed argument laying out the harms and limitations of AI, but instead I wrote about being a hater. Only humans can be haters.
I Am An AI Hater
I am an AI hater. This is considered rude, but I do not care, because I am a hater.

While Keighley partied at the game awards with big names, their up and coming "future class" of game devs had to leave and have a meetup at a local starbucks instead.

They were promised support & got basically nothing but disrespect & now they are getting canned

If women are underrepresented in STEM, it's at least partly because men like this offer mentoring, then embarrass themselves by assuming their mentees must be into them, then decide the best solution is to cut ties, which sends the signal to other faculty that the mentee must not be good enough.
The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

KIRO 7 ran an article and two TV pieces on the theft of a box truck full of arcade PCBs, artwork, and machines from my workplace yesterday. If anyone in the Seattle area sees someone offloading a ton of CPS2/NAOMI/Neo Geo PCBs, stuff of that nature, please reach out.

The value of reading history is you know that in 1860 there were abolitionists who were so demoralized that they thought chattel slavery would be permanent. 5 years later those still alive had lived to see its end.

We don’t use generative AI at Strange Scaffold and I can confirm that a *lot* of other studios are not—whether indie or AAA.

Get outta here with this normalization bullshit.

His Platform is as vapid as he is. It's so weird that he has a recognizable name for someone who is so *nothing*. Born hollow, genetically bred to be the perfect vessel for brands to poor themselves into. It's embarrassing that the dorito pope made an award show and people were just like "oh, dope"
Just want you to know that when I asked Geoff why he gave the silent treatment to an open letter written by his own "future of games" program (& co-signed by 3000+ industry peers), he replied:

"Because that's my show and nobody gets to tell me how I should use my platform". 💀💀💀
“Don’t gather some of the most brilliant activists in the industry, treat us like crap, and then expect us to do nothing about it.” After the Game Awards cancelled its Future Class programme, @alyssamerc.bsky.social talked to its former honorees

written language is a technology that can be broken. it can be lost. it appears we are well along the way to breaking it in this country. think about how angry you get when you imagine someone torching a library. be angrier than that. it is not one library being lost for these kids. it's all of them
I'm glad people are angry about the way that we've been failing to teach kids how to read. I need them to be angrier. written language is on the order of fire in terms of how important they are to what we have become as a species. and we're not teaching kids to start fires safely either. be. angrier
