Don't be afraid to call things by what they are. MAGA is a terrorist organization, ICE is a secret police force conducting Ethnic Cleansing, Elon Musk is an oligarch, and Trump is a foreign backed coup d'état figurehead. This is not an administration, this is a regime, and your country is occupied.

Also, happy Superb Owl. These treats will be critical for His summoning. Owl pellets made with crunchy peanut butter and pretzels for the bones, cocoa, oats, sugar/butter/milk, and every other one rolled in coconut flakes for the fur.

Boosting visibility here, especially because I’ve advocated for Proton in the past.
It’s reasonable to worry that tech companies’ backbone for protecting users from government data requests "might soften when they get too politically involved with any one administration," EFF’s Andrew Crocker told @theintercept.com.

The “privacy-first” company surprised its user base when CEO Andy Yen lauded Trump on social media.

TFW your meth head neighbors finally wake up from their stupor and start asking where their cat is. It was 4 degrees for a week, your cat would’ve been dead if we didn’t build her a heated shelter in the garage, let alone the hundreds of $ we spent clearing up her eye and ear infections

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon. - @aaronparnas.bsky.social

Cats are pretty cool, and so is this
I can't believe I'm saying this but the fundraiser for the shelter where I volunteer is almost to $12K. Can we hit that milestone for Christmas?? That amount of money is HUGE to a small shelter like this! gofund.me/a44dd513

Easiest assignment ever. Lieutenant Uhura.
Hard mode: name a FEMALE non-LOTR character that could resist the One Ring.

I saw someone say Granny Weatherwax, but I have not read so I can’t be sure.

The only other woman I saw was Princess Leia and I’m sorry but that woman would be a dark emperor in a heartbeat & the galaxy would be well-run.

Whoops!
In Texas, GOP State Rep. Jared Patterson sponsored a book ban targeting “sexually explicit” material in school libraries.

So a superintendent removed the Bible from shelves.

Patterson is now doing damage control, insisting *that’s not what he meant.*

BlueSky is trying to monetize so let's show them some numbers:

Reskeet this if you refuse to pay for BlueSky+ until trust & safety decides to prioritize marginalized users.

That's $96 / year of lost revenue for each reskeet...

not having a strong policy around stochastic terrorism is one of the big reasons Twitter became so toxic and unusable for many people the last few years. (I worked there and saw first hand how much they waffled on this specifically) Don’t be fucking wimps like they were and actually have a stance.
