A Barn Owl perched in the perfect position for a picture. Always a great day when you see them before it gets too dark!

I think I'm getting better at doing this 🙂 Here's my final shot from yesterday's Milky Way shoot. I drove back to Elbow Falls from Forget-Me-Not Pond for this. #ShareYourWeather #Alberta #Canada #MilkyWay #SonyPhotography

No official snow at the Edmonton airport yesterday, but Calgary did record 1cm. #yeg #yegwx #yyc #yycweather
This is Calgary's earliest snow since 2021.
The last time that they got a really early September snow was 2019, and 2018 for us.

A bittersweet day...I finally had to rehome my big Monstera. I'm guessing the new owners were hoping I was exaggerating about the dimensions.

I wasn't.

Here it is after I delivered it to its new home and was saying goodbye. They thought they could pick it up in a Ford Escape. Bahaha

New to me: Salpiglossis. Sort of like petunias, but not. (This one is Royale Chocolate.) I cut it back after it bloomed a month ago. It's doing it again. Late summer magic. ✨🌱 #plants #FlowersOnFriday #Bloomscrolling #FlowerPower

Begonias. 🪴 I finally found a dragon wing this year, which I wanted for the cool leaf (had some like 10 yrs ago). Its flowers are pretty nice, too. #begonias #plantsky
