My zinnias are definitely looking a little long in the tooth this late in the season, but I haven’t had the heart to cut them back yet. There are still some really beautiful blooms hanging on.

This holiday cactus is over 25 years old. It was passed down to me from my Mémère, and 12 years ago I drove it across country from Vermont to California. It blooms its heart out every fall/winter.
