If this isn't the most cattiest cat picture. Two beds and she'd rather sleep on the floor. (To be fair, that's where the heating vent is.)

Happy #Caturday!

@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social Pls don't shift gears now & start excluding us. I'm just so tired of being disappointed by people.
Since you won mayor whoever is managing your social media has stopped using alt text. Can you please start again?
The climate crisis won’t wait and neither will we. With this team, we’ll meet it head-on.

I wonder if everyone would stop reporting on him, stop sharing his posts, stop interviewing him & his regime, if maybe we could have just a normal day. Nothing he says is the truth, nothing he does is legal so let's just stop feeding his narcissism. Ignore him until he's gone.
Trump claims “any document” signed by Joe Biden is “hereby terminated.”

He calls out executive orders later but obviously “any document” would be much broader and include legislation.

(He can’t legally do that but, as always, we get to watch how far he can push this without repercussions)

Amazon employees in over 30 countries are walking off the job today as part of a global protest called “Make Amazon Pay”.

They’re demanding the company honour workers rights to unionize, improve environmental sustainability and raise wages.

This is the biggest disruption in the company’s history.

Chronic pain doesn’t just disappear overnight…

Getting to sleep is painful.
Waking up is painful.
And being asleep is painful… dreaming about the pain you wake up in… never actually getting restful sleep as a result.

Ppl who celebrate holidays & can afford to buy gifts are going to shop this wknd. Ppl who can't, aren't. Everyone is struggling. That doesn't mean you get to judge. You don't know their story & it's not your business. Let ppl be happy when they can. And don't get me started on accessibility either.
As I always do with boycotts, I urge: be tough with corporations, gentle with individual buyers. For some people, Black Friday sales are the way they get their kids jackets that fit, shoes that hold up to the weather. Yelling at them doesn’t help the cause.

With tomorrow being Black Friday, I wanted to share this again. Pls add your fave small businesses to the list & reskeet. And don't forget, we don't cross picket lines so stay out of ALL Starbucks if you're out this weekend.

If you want or need a refresher on how to make and use our wishlists, check out this thread!

And let us know if you need help! We're not the Butterball Hotline, but our team does have some helpful turkeys. 🖤🖤🖤
In order to create a wishlist, you'll need to create an account on our website.

There are a few ways to do this, but the fastest is probably clicking the little heart next to any listing you see - our site will direct you to a sign up page and then you can head right back to shopping!

SO & kids are heading to the in-laws to eat some ham w/the grandparents. I'm staying home. However, at 2 different points my son & then his gf pulled me to the side to show me the rings they've picked out for each other, completely unknown to the other. I'm going to have a DIL soon. I'm so tickled.

To be sure, there can be (and are!) bad actors in bad faith using A.I. for bad, impure purposes. No disagreement there. But your anti-A.I. stance does not justify or excuse the decision to deliberately misuse something that is intended to help disabled people. Abusing alt text will have real harm.
Some are suggesting you deliberately write inaccurate or confusing alt text, because they say this confuses AI scrapers that are analyzing images.

The purpose of alt text is to help people who cannot see the image. Deliberately misrepresenting the image is a gross misuse of alt text. Don't do it.

AIDS decimated the #LGBT community. In the 80s, I stopped counting the number of people I knew who died horrible deaths.

Since 1988, December 1st has been World AIDS Day, when people mourn those who died. Trump has cancelled it. He's trying to erase LGBT people!

Has anyone had any luck w/any of the low impact, bed or chair exercises apps? I'm at the point I'm losing muscle mass & really need to, if not reverse, then slow it down. Just seems like at deeper look they're all either scams or they claim to be free, but they aren't. #disability #spoonie #exercise

I may or may not be utterly enjoying the karma as the sky opens up and there's a downpour just 2hrs before my sister's movers show up. Would be such a shame if all she owns gets sopping wet as she abandons us. A nice, damp, musty, 1bdrm apt all to herself. Hopefully with a lot of mold.
November 25, 2025 at 1:23 PM
Just remember, no matter how low you get, there will always be multiple groups more than happy to completely ignore your desperate cries for help.
Seriously, if there's anyone in the #disability community, #spoonie, #MutualAid, or #foodie who can help me navigate. No gluten, no soy, capsaicin allergy, mushroom allergy, can't eat beans, lactose intolerant. Besides potatoes, I've got nothing. I'm dropping weight like crazy & so hungry. Pls help.
November 25, 2025 at 7:28 AM
Last night I made tofu bites in the air fryer. I've been meaning to try tofu since I can no longer have gluten. Y'all. I think I'm fucking allergic to soy now. My fibro flared so it was all night of itching, plus horrific stomach pains, gas, & muscle spasms. Seriously asking, what is left to eat?

My sister will finally be out tomorrow. Then blocked on everything. While she's out living her best life, I have $8, no food, & have her $700 gap I have 6 days to come up w/for mortgage. And she wants to know if I'm "mad at her." She's dead to me is what she is. No $ or food & I'm soon to follow.
November 24, 2025 at 4:12 PM
SO brought me home a box of gf pancakes. No nutritional value, but at least it's not potatoes.

Except it's 'add milk' milk based. Guess who can't have milk.
Guess who knows this.

It's starting to feel like purposeful torture. So, I guess that's today's food that, once again, I can't eat.
November 22, 2025 at 4:23 PM
Tonight's option for food is hashbrowns. You know, potatoes. On Tuesday I told SO if he could make it to Sunday eating the same foods as I do, I'll never mention food again. He made it to last night. He still doesn't get it. I ate an egg 7 hours ago. Guess that'll have to do for the day. #disability

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

The internet came for me today

Paper Flowers by Jessica Jocelyn

The angry daughter.
No one ever sits beside her
& asks her what made her this way.
They just assume she was born burning,
scorned from her very first breath.
The scapegoat.
The disappointment.
The sacrifice.

Stop with the fake outrage over "Quiet, Piggy." If that kind of thing actually bothered you, he'd never would have won the first term after mocking a disabled reporter. Or the whole "grab them by the pussy." You all need to stop trying to pull a MTG. No one is buying it from her or you.
