Is that urban planner yelling into the Internet again?

Detroiter from St. Louis

Posting about city services & urban planning from a justice perspective, the Rust Belt, community outreach, transportation, historic preservation, and cats.
Oh ALSO his rescuer happened to mention that the only food he has ever begged for is Italian beef.

That was the only food our sweet Doodles ever tried to get on the counter for. Feels like a sign.

We will be picking him up a little cup of beef this weekend!!

Other names under consideration include Catsimir Pulaski, Copernicus, Euclid, Norman, and Conant.

We’ll see! He just got home and he is currently hiding in a cubby, decompressing.

He is a gentle little soul.

We are still working on a name.

His foster name is actually my brother-in-law’s name. Human Raffy and my sister think this is VERY funny and insist that we name him Baby Raffy.

We are not sure yet.

He apparently kept helping to raise the kittens once they were all in foster care. He just started learning how to play because he was so busy raising babies!

The kittens are being adopted out by their foster. 2/3 already have homes!

The resource allocation efficiency of capitalism shines brightest when a brand new home rots to the point of unsalvageability because unlucky timing meant that it wasn't profitable to finish. That the home has been squatted on and off is evidence enough of a need for it to exist.
