5 years old. This is a child—not a threat to our community. When the federal government treats kids like criminals, something has gone seriously wrong. www.washingtonpost.com/immigration/...
ICE detains four children from Minnesota school district, including 5-year-old
Columbia Heights Public Schools district officials accused ICE officers of using the 5-year-old “as bait.” A 10-year-old and her mother were also detained.

Greenland Isn’t the Point. Affordability and the end of the American way is.

Two things are circulating right now: Heather Cox Richardson explaining how Trump thinks, and Brent Molnar showing how bad it could get. Together, they explain why this matters to your wallet. 1/x

This wasn’t chaos. It was design.

Today, federal mental health & addiction grants were abruptly cut—then partially restored hours later. Even when money comes back, the damage is done. Instability is the policy.

Trump administration sends letter wiping out addiction, mental health grants
The Trump administration sent hundreds of letters Tuesday terminating federal grants supporting mental health and drug addiction services. The cuts could total as much as $2 billion.

Take the time to read this letter.
The letter from Bill and Hillary Clinton to James Comer explaining their refusal to testify in his Epstein investigation is really remarkable, not like any letter of this genre I've seen. It's signed by them, not a lawyer, and the arguments are not legal ones. Reprinted from their X account:

This is the truth
People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

So true
@chuckschumer.com Americans are tired of your strongly worded pieces of paper, speeches and resolutions. Enforce the freaking law. Throw Bondi in jail until all the Epstein Files are released in accordance with the law.

Hate to say it, but you should no longer trust anything from CBS News. I'm sure there are great reporters there trying to do honest work, but how can we know anymore? If they're willing to kill a Trump-critical 60 Minutes segment at the order of Bari Weiss, it's been over.

This is why @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social and @schumer.senate.gov need to get out of the way and let the real leaders like @aoc.bsky.social @chrismurphyct.bsky.social @crockett.house.gov and @sanders.senate.gov step in and lead.
Democratic voters are working hard to stop fascism. It would be nice if the leaders of the party joined them.

@schumer.senate.gov @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social step down both of you aren’t ready to lead during this time.

Totally agree!
After the revelations in these 23k+ Epstein emails, I’m convinced these billionaires didn’t manipulate the last election to keep Trump out of prison, they did it to keep ALL of them out of prison. May ANYONE involved with Epstein rot in hell and prison, you soulless pieces of shit.
November 14, 2025 at 12:33 AM
Seems pretty accurate.
My takeaway from Epstein document dump was that Jeffrey Epstein in 2018/early 2019 was increasingly telling people he had dirt on Trump and Trump knew everything about child sex ring. To protect Trump's re-election campaign, Trump's DOJ charged Epstein in July 2019. Then Epstein committed "suicide."

@schumer.senate.gov you gave them the ball then with this deal went and said ahh never mind. You are not a leader and need to step down.
Today on the Senate floor:

Democrats made an offer to Republicans to re-open the government and extend the ACA tax credits for one year.

We’re calling their bluff.

The ball is in their court.

2 days ago!! 2 days! They threatened your flight home for the holidays and you cave. Just retire now you are a waste and a liar @shaheen.senate.gov.
At a time when costs on basic needs—from housing to child care—are all going up, extending the ACA enhanced premium tax credits is one of the most immediate and effective ways to provide relief to families’ budgets.

The American people are counting on us to get this done.

The most annoying part about @shaheen.senate.gov and @hassan.senate.gov on being conned by the GOP is that both have announced their retirement so them folding without getting the ACA subsidies and just a promise of a vote in a month is that they are doing this with no political pressure on them.

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.
