Have you done a #RiskyOrNot episode about eating your hat yet? @benchapmanncsu.bsky.social @bugcounter.bsky.social
to safely dispose of these hats, eat them. natural fibers — such as cotton, wool, silk, and linen — breakdown in the digestive track. synthetics do not. thus, if you eat your hat, the synthetics will pass through the other side. smush through the poop to find the synthetic fibers and recycle them.

Who put the Thorns sticker on the giant Spirit sphere?

Breaks my heart to thunk of Trin leaving the Spirit but she deserves to be paid her worth and this is a real good time go get out of America. I want what is best for Trinity Rodman.
Certainly NWSL doesn't want to lose their biggest stars to other leagues, but people keep talking about these things as if it's a matter of survival for the league itself, and I really don't think that is true any longer
🇺🇸 Sources: Trinity Rodman could be playing final home game for Washington Spirit today in NWSL semifinal

- Rodman is out of contract in winter
- Several clubs abroad pushing hard
- Negotiating directly with NWSL but things not looking good

Checking out the Fall Stars game last night with folks from @stadiumjourney.bsky.social and the Ballpark Chasers Facebook group. Great experience. Top prospects, six minor league mascots, fantastic stadium, great crowd of true baseball fans.

One of the best baseball experiences I have ever had.

Wild stats in Northeast DC this afternoon. Hampden-Sydney leads Gallaudet 61-0 at halftime, but because Gallaudet is milking the clock to keep their defense off the field and Hampden-Sydney is scoring so fast and doing a lot of no-huddle, Gallaudet has more time of possession.

And seven couldn't be bothered to show up. Do like the Pope and lock them all in the Capitol until they come up with a budget.
By a vote of 50-43, the Senate did not invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.5371, the House passed CR. Senator Thune changed his vote to no and entered a motion to reconsider.

Senator Paul voted no.

Donald Trump cheats on everything and everybody in his life, literally shits on America, imprisons his enemies, and is just all around one of the worst human beings alive today. How does anyone still support this terrorist clown unless they're also fascists?

Can we lock all of Congress in the Capitol until they pass a budget like they do with the Pope? Lock them in and they'd have to negotiate and come up with a solution that ends the shutdown quickly and benefits the American people. Which incidentally is exactly why they elect the Pope that way now.

Well this is a new one. I’m at Georgetown field hockey and we were supposed to start at noon but are delayed about 25 minutes because of traffic delays caused by the Army Ten Miler. Lots of road closures, many of which weren’t on Waze. Took me a while to get here too.

So Booker voted on this too, so it's not like he had to leave after the Democratic CR vote and before the Republican CR one. Where the hell did he go? Really long bathroom trip?
By a vote of 50-45, the Senate invoked cloture on the en bloc nominations listed pursuant to S.Res. 412. This was a party line vote.

Not voting: Senators Curtis, Heinrich, Kennedy, Schatz, and Tillis.
