Another problem with the net zero myth is: military emissions are not counted.

They are estimated at 5.5% globally, so when we hit "net zero" we'll actually be at about +5.5%.
Another problem with the myth of net zero is: when does nature become a net source of GHGs?

Drug companies have hired over 500 lobbyists this year to gut the Inflation Reduction Act's drug price negotiation provisions.

They outnumber public interest advocates more than 20 to 1.

We must get money out of politics and end Big Pharma's deadly greed once and for all.

But today, Prime Minister Mark Carney also once again called for a “Zionist Palestine.”

I must say, #Pop!_OS and its #COSMIC desktop has put some zing into my computing day. Still learning the keyboard shortcuts, but I’ve had a couple of very productive days. The new desktop is energizing! Thanks, @system76.bsky.social

It’s like the Liberals are preparing to quash any protest they don’t like, never mind our constitutional rights. Fix this insidious bill!
Reject Bill C9, which will likely criminalize peaceful protest and remove protections for conscientious freedom of expression.

True story. Bill 60 escalates Bill 212's attack on Toronto streets and targets municipalities province-wide.
If u care about better cities for people in Ontario Canada, please pay attention to what Premier Ford is doing. Not only would his new bill block cities from building bike-lanes if they touch car lanes, he’s talking about imposing his own street standards & standardized official plans in EVERY city.
