Labour find innovative new ways to appal and disappoint on a daily basis.
The govt has launched a new TikTok that shows videos of people being handcuffed, bundled into police cars and frogmarched into detention centres. Why? It's a cruel, desperate bid for attention from a government failing to actually improve people's lives

'The Government's Deportations TikTok Is A New, Deeply Disturbing Low'
Writing for HuffPost UK, Green Party MP Carla Denyer said it was a "gross dereliction of duty" and simply unforgivable".

The same with “cancel culture” and so on. There’s no hypocrisy or inconsistency there, because the principle at stake has always been *who* is allowed to speak and who must listen, not rights in the abstract.
There’s no inconsistency or hypocrisy there. They never believed everyone had rights or that freedoms are universal. They believe in their own freedom and in their unlimited right to smash fuck out of anyone who impedes or resists them. And this is how it’s been for decades, at least.

The country wants a wealth tax on assets.

They're panicking because "won't the rich just leave" has been utterly debunked.

They've got no actual argument.

Congratulations to @zackpolanski.bsky.social on your stunning victory.

Your campaign took on the rich and powerful, stood up for the dignity of all marginalised communities, and gave people hope!

Real change is coming. I look forward to working with you to bring about a fairer, kinder world.

The right-to-buy scheme has cost UK taxpayers almost £200bn according to @cmmonwealth.bsky.social

Margaret Thatcher's transfer of public wealth into private hands has fuelled the inequality and shortage of social housing we see today.

The Green Party would scrap right-to-buy.

There were multiple incidents like this in the 2010s demonstrating that the public could use social media as an effective tool for seeking justice, democracy and accountability, things that very rich people tend to not like, correctly understanding they are threats to their unlimited regal freedoms.

The Internet was so good at exposing sexual predators and building cases against them that a bajillionaire who was publicly grassed up for sexually harassing an employee bought one of the principal platforms for Me Too then turned it into a Nazi boobyhatch, to prevent repeats.

Arguments from etymology seem really smart until you know anything about etymology and realise that people inventing words didn't have a clue what they were doing.
