A really critical detail here is they are not testing pregnant people and therefore will randomize newborns with extremely high risk of getting Hep B at the time of birth (from the birthing parent), in a country with high rates of Hep B, to NOT GETTING THE VACCINE THAT CAN PREVENT TRANSMISSION.
