Mixing a song is a bit like those eye tests where the optician asks "better, 1 or 2" and you can't decide but eventually everything becomes a little clearer.

NP "Uncorked" Al Stewart Live with Dave Nachmanoff. A absolute corker of an album. Nachmanhoff's guitar is brilliant throughout.

I saw Al and Dave several years back with guest Tim Renwick who played guitar on the original "Year of the Cat" and later in Pink Floyd's live shows.

Nicholas Crane's account of the French-Spanish geodesic mission to the equator. A truly epic 10 year survey in 1735 to 1745.

The unlikely topic @singingconductor.bsky.social has been singing about lately in a new Red Over Red song.

Pierre Bouguer, Charles La Condamine and there 10 companions, Truly "Masters of Geodesy."

If you were to buy a 10 track album via Bandcamp for £13. Post fees, for the artist, that's the equivalent of streaming all 10 tracks, on Spotify, every day, for a year

But Spotify would pay the artist £0, as 365 streams per track doesn't reach their threshold of 1,000

So, you know, go to Bandcamp

🎄 It's the start of our #Shropshire advent calendar, and here is Ludlow Castle surrounded by hoar frost glistening in the winter sunshine. It was a beautiful morning up on Whitcliffe Common, but the cold was fierce and the only way to stay warm was to keep moving in between taking pictures. ☃️

This is something to look out for!
Steve Rothery and I are working towards the finishing post now with our album recording, alongside Riccardo Romano who’s engineering and on keys… It already sounds amazing!

MOTH Club is facing an existential threat because Hackney Council is considering approval of a residential development next door under delegated authority - denying the venue and its community a public planning hearing despite more than 25,000 objections.

A few snaps from last night's Karnataka gig in Tavistock. It was the last night of their tour and they made it count!

Luke Machin was outstanding on guitar. His slide on a rare cover of Yes's Soon was excellent.

(he Devonport Leat was built between 1795 and 1802 to carry fresh drinking water from Dartmoor to the expanding town of Plymouth Dock (later Devonport). It’s not as old as Drake’s leat that also runs in the area, that’s 16th century.
