I think you should revise your 1 to Russia vs Nil to America to at least 2 vs 0.

Remember Trump’s marines rolled out the red carpet for Putin in Alaska an unprecedented meeting of enemies over a war “negotiation” on US soil only for Putin to soak up the recognition and kudos and negotiate nothing.

Did you see this ABC survey of 17,000 kids affected by the ban.

It supports your son’s experience.

Michelle Rowland, the Communications Minister who conceived the age ban and Anika Wells the current Minister are incompetent troglodytes.

Our kids have it covered.

What 17,000-plus young people think about the social media ban
BTN surveyed more than 17,000 Australians under 16 about the federal government's upcoming social media ban. This is what they said.

This is what happens when the govt stops governing and decides to interfere in the activity of its citizens living.

The SM ban is poor policy it blames our kids for the problem rather than holding the SM providers to account for their content.

It is a half backed, almost raw, idea that will fail.

Yes and look what a fuck up the AAT became as a result. They are all at it, nepotism is one of the perks of obtaining the Treasury Benches. The Greens, PHON, and Independents never have that opportunity. It is a neat symbiotic club where Labor and the LNP tolerate each others appointment largesse.

It’s not the surveillance that is the issue, govts all over world keep an eye on each other by spying, radar, telecommunications interception and satellite assets, it is the Australian govt disclosing cases and the media reporting it like we don’t do it and it’s novel and threatening that is absurd.
December 2, 2025 at 11:53 PM
💯. Although the Australian Govt, the MSM and any number of citizens may understand that, a Chinese military vessel or aircraft that comes within 3,000 kms of Australia must declare where it is going and for what purpose. Failure to do will result in an hysterical fit by Australia and a telling off.
December 2, 2025 at 10:05 PM
You are 💯 right. I have posted on here regularly the same thing. All Americans who are eligible to vote are to blame. But worse they didn’t do it once but twice.

Americans who post on here lamenting that Trump beat Harris and express their outrage, forget Trump won against Harris the second time.
December 2, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Yes and Marles will use it to justify AUKUS, but if the threat is somehow real we don’t need a handful of Subs “to operate undetected, far from home for months on end” (Marles words), we need many many subs and surface vessels and aircraft surrounding our coast. Wrong kit. Waste of money (again).

I see your 3 posts and acknowledge there are some office conversions. Perhaps not enough. My original post referred to a report by CEDA (Committee for Economic Development) that there is an opportunity to increase population densities in low rises or single dwellings that is not being tapped into.

More than 50 years ago.

Sure China has its issues but it isn’t supporting genocide in Gaza nor attacking sovereign countries inside their own border or blowing up their citizens in international waters for example.
December 1, 2025 at 11:52 PM
…the past is useful the learn from and not repeat. What other solution is there to better utilise existing urban land and buildings rather than keep expanding cities with high rises or eve to eve cardboard cut out single story homes? Office conversions and Tiny House neither of which are being done.
December 1, 2025 at 11:39 PM
I appreciate that but the States have done bugger all about that idea because they captured by developers who want new land and new builds and by NIMBYism.

4 of the 6 Premiers are Labor and the Federal govt has monetary, political and (maybe) moral leverage over the States. Albo should use it.

Did Israel teach America or did America teach Israel that they can do whatever they want without regard to human rights?

The teacher, despite the rhetoric, certainly was not Russia that has been heavily sanctioned, nor China that has not opened fire on any citizen of any country.
December 1, 2025 at 8:20 PM
I don’t quite get your point. The non-voters equally did not vote for Harris.

Let’s say Harris won, would Trump supporters blame “selfish Americans who knowing chose to help [Harris]?”

IMO non-voters didn’t make a conscious political decision. They are / were disenfranchised, incapable, or lazy.

…and spending $368 billion on AUKUS and giving some of that money directly to America to build their infrastructure. Not one cent of the $368 billion will build a home in Aussie.

Let’s say all in a new house costs $500 thousand. So 2 for a million. 2,000 for a billion x 368. AUKUS = 750,000 homes.
December 1, 2025 at 3:18 PM
I presume that’s a rhetorical question. In case it’s not…Like Aussies who own houses and demand an increase in value every year, we also expect our Super to make a return ahead of inflation or the compounding interest effect is reduced. Affordable housing, safe child and aged care don’t provide it.

I don’t know…he is pretty convincing as a fuckwit 🤣🤣🤣

If you are serious Peter you are the reason Angus Taylor says what he says. There is no global security crisis. There is no escalation of hostilities with China. Australia fucks with China in the South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait and they fuck with us all in the name of freedom of navigation.
December 1, 2025 at 2:08 PM
I saw him. Nothing like someone who wants to be Prime Minister (as long as bow as it is, that is the extension of his ambition to be leader of the Federal Liberal Party) on the Telly trying to stir up fear and warmongering toward our biggest trading partner China. Angus Taylor is a total fuckwit,
