Did the Chinese invade us yet, is it today or tomorrow?

It’s a good thing the Labor govt and its political partner do not support the recommendations in the “Jobs for Mates” report.

If they filled senior jobs on public Boards etc with qualified people who weren’t politicians or their friends and families.

Who would actually run the country?

Perhaps the Chinese Navy flotilla is sailing south as a humanitarian convoy to help the flood victims in SEA where more than 1,000 people are dead.

My guess is good as anyone’s else’s, because only the Chinese know.

But NO! Australia has to make it all about us. We have little man syndrome.
December 2, 2025 at 11:23 AM
A Chinese Navy flotilla is in the South China Sea (SCS) something like 3,000 kms from Darwin. The media is running around like headless chickens chasing the govt and opposition to comment on the situation as the govt tracks it.

FMD. Our Navy sails in the SCS and in the Taiwan Strait - claim down.

That this is still an untapped significant part of the solution to the housing crisis is a disgrace.

The govt rabbits on about the big targets they have for new housing and what a great job Clare O’Neil is doing but they are just throwing more new money at the problem in the same old failed way.

This clip is exactly the point when we talk about the constraints the government places on social infrastructure projects because they say (both of them) that we can’t afford them.

Angus Taylor on ABC AB briefing is so full of himself, spouting about how good he is. So fucking arrogant and a smart arse.

Meanwhile he is in a failing political party.

Please look closely at the pic. Does anyone recognise these 3 women from 70 years ago? That’s Grace on the left and Elegance in the middle but who is that on the right and why isn’t Jean there too?

Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has arrested 11 people allegedly responsible for non compliance concerning the renovations 5 days after the tragic high rise fire.

Our Federal NACC was established 880 days ago and their investigations have not lead to any arrests.

Americans voted Trump into the White House TWICE. The second time he told you all what he was going to do and he was still installed into Office anyway, securing less votes than all the eligible people who were too lazy to vote. So I doubt approximately 60% of the US population care or even know.
I hope Americans are seeing the results of voting for a personal profit driven Presidency.
November 29, 2025 at 8:49 PM
There’s no point. 89 million Americans who didn’t vote, aren’t going to tell you why for exactly the same reason they didn’t vote.

They are one or more of many things. Disconnected, disenfranchised, lazy, incapable, unable, distracted, surviving.

Blame the selfish, the bigots, and the gullible.
Will someone please ask the 89 million Americans who didn't vote in the last election if they are being affected by anything this administration is doing to the other Americans?

It’s “interesting” to watch the USA trying to turn itself into a an authoritarian version of Russia, except Trump is not as smart as Putin and the MAGAs are not as ruthless as the Oligarchs. There are many parallels.

The next step is Venezuela, the US version of Ukraine invaded for it resources.

With the speculation over Trumps ailing health…

Imagine if Trump dies and JD Vance became President of the USA.

The IQ of the Office would rapidly rise momentarily above the all time average and then sink to its lowest level ever.

Best Trump serves out his term. The lesser of two idiots.

Trying for casual work in Melbourne. 67 years old, fit, drivers license, engineer and 40 year corporate career in sales, wanting a part time job for something to do.
Applied for about 20 jobs in Liquor Store, Hardware store, Autoparts sales, driver, etc. no luck. I thought it’s hard to get staff.

Watt says it was difficult to work out who was the (LNP) negotiator and their position. He met with Coalition people who would say they’ve “got their final list of demands, and then meet someone else, and they’ve got other demands”.

The LNP fuck up.

Barnaby Juice whinging about how Littleproud and Ley did not try to save him from himself. Dutton didn’t want him either.

You’d imagine at 58 years of age, with 2 wives and finding himself drunk and comatose on a Canberra footpath and being courted by Poorline he would have some self awareness.

It is tragic that once again there is shooting on the streets of America. This time two National Guardsmen sent not into harms way but through no fault of their own becoming innocent victims of Trump bringing harm to them through his incompetent, selfish, misguided and possibly unlawful mischief.

Crikey Reports…

Communications Minister Anika Wells says the govt won't blink at a High Court challenge — with two 15 yo as the plaintiffs, to its teen social media ban.

Arrogant eejit

And a critical parliamentary report calls for a 6 month delay on the policy, due to start in less than 2 weeks.
November 27, 2025 at 3:57 AM
Good Labor and the Greens have done a deal on the new environmental legislation. While I think they should have had a more thorough process and consultation, a deal with the Greens is far better than one with the climate change denying (even more) irrelevant LNP. No surprise Susssan Ley is whinging.

Precisely Albo lazy!
