On Dec. 20, 1969, the Grey Cup was stolen from the Lansdowne Park Clubhouse only a month after the Ottawa Rough Riders won it.
It was held for ransom for months until the robbers left it in a locker at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
This is the story.

It's the weekend & also Day 1396 of Russia's 3-day 'military operation' to take Kyiv.
Yet Putin's horde is still scrambling around with horses & donkeys in desolate fields of Donetsk.

Indeed, after 12 years Russia hasn't reached 100 miles into Ukraine in any direction.

And again, as I've banged on about again and again. Even if you *100% accept all claims* from the RFK Jr. camp about what vaccines do to children - the balance of consequences so overwhelmingly favors vaccination that it isn't even a question.

U.S. plans to stop recommending most childhood vaccines, defer to doctors
The plan, which is not finalized, suggests children get fewer shots and shifts to a model telling parents to consult doctors to make their own vaccine choices.

NDP report on a disastrous loss:
"The overall verdict from campaign staff was that even significantly better decisions would not have changed the overall outcome."
The campaign "fell a little short."
The base is "defeatist"

As we near Christmas, there's no festive cheer towards Ukraine from 3 EU "allies"

Another win for Putin as he gets the EU split he craves and Russia's frozen assets are not used.

Here's the🧵on Day 1395 of the all out war.
