Offsetting penalties never make sense to me.

Add them up and award the difference.

Turned on the fire pit so I can watch the Egg Bowl on the backyard TV while the kids and cousins watch Christmas movies.

Kids see the fire pit on:

“Let’s make s’mores!!!!”

Now I’m at Walmart on Black Friday for graham crackers. Might buy a new TV just to prove a point.

Watching the 90s Miracle on 34th Street

My son: That parade looks old.

Me: This came out 20 years ago.

My wife: 1994 was 30 years ago.

My wife just pointed out that Tom Brady kind of sounds like Adam Pally and now I can’t unhear it.

Without the little bits of hand, they’re just sparkling cheesy potatoes.
Is it really au gratin potatoes without at least one or two thin slices of hand in it? I think not.

This feels like our worst committee yet. Head to head means very little and their application of SOS just seems so random.

Normally, when we talk about two Americas, we’re talking about the wildly different experiences for Black and white citizens.

Currently experiencing the other two Americas with this turkey frying conversation. Nobody in the south is using $50 of oil on one turkey and dumping it.

No way in hell.

Here’s the thing:

If you only fry one turkey, it’s not wild to filter, freeze it and reuse it. It’s frankly the only way to keep it from being financially irresponsible to fry a turkey.

Five is a big number, but I think it’s not too far off the right track. Or am I country?

Spent summers from 16-21 working at an outdoor/underground tourist attraction in the Texas Hill Country.

It’s home.

Ha.

I don’t have pottery.
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

I disagree with this take, but I enjoyed the thing Jamelle hates.

The choppiness hit me in the right way because I was deep into the Star Wars TTRPG at the time and it felt like different sessions.

I also have always wanted more of the “war” part of Star Wars, which I felt like it delivered on.
rogue one is bad folks. i have believed this since i saw it in theaters and no subsequent rewatch has changed my mind. basically a chop job until the final sequence, which is good (for star wars)

Not to be that guy, but it’s capitalism.

The problem she’s searching for is capitalism.

Her issue is not with beds, it’s with the exorbitant cost to meet a human need.

Capitalism literally makes us crazy.
Bitch what the fuck?!

My wife and I have been discussing getting our oldest into music lessons and which instrument we want him to try first.

We’ve been at my in-laws approximately 48 hours and he’s taught himself the opening to Jingle Bells on her piano, so I guess it’s decided.

Fallen is in a specific category of “thrillers with one-word titles that not many people have seen that I always recommend.”

Also includes Frailty and Identity
Denzel Washington is the greatest actor who has ever lived, which is why GOOD MOVIE is dedicating the month of December to him. Beginning December 6th, we're covering four consecutive Denzel movies. But it's up to you to decide which ones get chosen. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

Two random hip hop musings:

1. We don’t talk about K.R.I.T. enough among the modern elites.

2. K.R.I.T. doing a six-part series across albums about his love for bass and subs (My Subs) is one of the most southern hip hop things ever. (I think IV and PT 6 are my favorites)

I’ve said it before on the other site, but I’ll say it again here:

Your family spent too much money and time on that bird for you to come on this app and tell on them by saying “thanksgiving food/turkey is bad.”

I was one of those, until I had good turkey and realized my folks just can’t cook.
"you know turkey is bad because people only cook it twice a year" you do NOT speak for smoker-owning americans, SIR

Having to keep myself from gushing about Steven Spielberg and John Williams.
