I'm just here so they don't fine me
In AYSO soccer, there was a forward on the other team who was just so fucking annoying. Always elbowing you and giving a little extra.

Anyways I suplexed him, assumed I was getting a red card so as the ref was reaching for it I flipped double middle fingers and walked to my car
let's hear some more of these Olympic Moments, what's your greatest personal sports-related tantrum
Yinz guys are special writers and always make me laugh.......

This is beyond relatable

I rolled a bowling bowl across a parking lot and into the woods. I drove home in my bowling shoes. I haven't picked a ball up since. Almost 24 years.

Out of all the meaningless petty causes there are, this is the one I'm most passionate about.

Robins are great but they are an American bird. Kirtland's Warbler is basically exclusively a Great Lakes species in summer, and represents the uniqueness of the state much better than a Robin
TIL that Michigan's state bird was chosen by a mail-in poll by the state's Audubon Society in 1929.

(Also, too many states have the robin, we should have Kirtland's Warbler!)

It's not the worst thing they are being spent on but I'm not a fan of my tax dollars being used to make sure this chud can eat hamburger helper in Milan
Not only did they bring a small private army, but among the waste of taxpayer money was BRINGING A FULL PLANE OF FOOD.

To *Italy*.

Every few months I see a post that's like "people who don't like the beatles simply haven't listened to the right songs" and the replies are all some variation of "I played my friend The Legend of Dr. Allspice and it changed their life"

CHOTINER: So you learned this technique in school?

DR: No, not— listen it was good advice. Pagliacci was in town.

C: Right. Is it standard to give advice before learning a patient’s name?

DR: Now look

The next time you feel like you aren't good enough remember that two coaches in the same year hired Mike Bajakian to coach Qbs
Sources: Michigan State QBs coach Mike Bajakian is joining the Cleveland Browns’ staff in a similar role.

Ok what if we look at it in the context of movies that cost 40 million dollars to get made?
It's on track to have the highest opening weekend box office of any documentary in more than a decade, which in the context of movie box office numbers, is strong! The movie is a stupid vanity project but an actually surprising number of tickets are being sold to it
So the NYT calls this movie, that is on track to lose $50-60 million, a "strong showing".
We're on our own out here folks.

I love LSU because everyone agreed it's legal to pay players and LSU said "we're gonna find a way to do it illegally"
NEWS: The College Sports Commission has opened an investigation into LSU over potential unreported NIL deal(s). The Tigers are the first known program under an inquiry from the new enforcement body.

"You made us hit you (ok, kill you) by hurting our feelings." says this canned ham in a suit.

Moral depravity from guy working for child rapist Trump, who promised Minnesota a “DAY OF RECKONING & RETRIBUTION.”

We better not see anyone call this guy reasonable professional etc. Just another Nazi.
Homan: "I begged for the last two months on TV for the rhetoric to stop. I said in March -- if the rhetoric doesn't stop, there is gonna be bloodshed. And there has been. I wish I wasn't right. I don't want to see anybody die."

Obviously it's not because he was evil that he was shit canned it's because he was peacocking around and is short and Trump thought it looked bad on TV.
Bovino is, god willing, going home to spend more time with a bottle of scotch and his service weapon.
BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

A decade of trans advocacy has taught me people believe lies because they want to, not because they don't know they are lies. They believe trans people will regret our transition because they want us to regret our transition. They believe we are a "social contagion" because that is how they see us
