On this fine #FossilFriday, allow us to introduce you to the giant #Moa - a group of #extinct, flightless birds from New Zealand belonging to the genus Dinornis!

The largest moa species were 12 ft tall and weighed ~510 lb! Watch out Sesame Street, cause that’s a BIG bird 🐥
