The first Thanksgiving is a myth. I'm descended from him some of those Mayflower folks, but I also have Wampanoag as ancestry as well. If anything, it's just a day off to spend with family and has no major cultural significance for me.

Turkey is done and resting. Mac and cheese is done and in the Crockpot keeping warm. Currently have dough for rolls going in the bread maker—love the dough setting. All I need to do is get the ham into the oven and other sides.
