I don't think I've ever seen a parliamentary petition being successful
Just because it's reached the 100,000 threshold, doesn't mean anything will happen.

The car clocking businesses are rubbing their hands together.

If the UK government was really serious about online safety they would have banned Twitter/X instead of implementing the Online Safety Act. That would've removed a major source of extremist hate but preserved small website communities and forums that offer safe aid and advice.

A mansion tax isn't how you hit the wealthy - who have a small proportion of their wealth tied up in housing. A mansion tax is how you hit the middle classes - whose only valuable asset is their house.
