The main picture is blurry but it shows what's happening. Stick a bit to the ball of the foot. Then stretch the tape to heel. Back off the stretch slightly and then stick. Careful applying to Achilles without crumpling.

The second is to try holding a calf raises just a tiny bit off the ground for 1.30 - 2 mins!!!

Again gently drive toes in to the ground.

I find this again really stresses the foot, whereas it's impossible to do more than 40 seconds of calf raises

Try these two isometrics.

The first is using a kitchen worktop. Do it in bare feet on a yoga mat. I use crocks as it protects from the hard floor.

Try to hold for 40s to 1 min. At the same time *gently* push toes into ground and pull your feet onwards to make them narrower.

@chaoscate.bsky.social been doing the long hold isometrics for more than 4 weeks now.

I think it's working. Feet getting stronger and the pf seems to be fading. The hold gets a good stress on all of the foot and Achilles

I'd up the spice amount and I now add harissa paste as well and fresh chopped coriander
