BlueSky doesn't (yet) allow you to create Feeds for a list of users (you can create lists for Muting)

BUT SkyFeed allows you to "invert" a Mute list and turn it into a Feed.

So I created a few Boardgame Feeds:
The best part about driving through the Champagne region of France is seeing companies that have Champagne in their name because of their location...

...and then imagining what a bottle of their wine would look like.

I think this one would have an exploding volcano with a flaming (lava) truck.

Picked up some recipes while in France. These ones are for "Nems de Tourteau" = Crab Spring Rolls.

The circle inset says: "Also consider: Spider" so I'm thinking maybe Spider Spring Rolls for Thanksgiving.

Wow. The story (from 2011) where he has a customer send a defective board to another (unsuspecting) customer indicates a kind of unsavory person who is always looking for ways to take advantage of other people.
This thread goes into detail with photos of the design copying… and the replies link to MULTIPLE previous threads about these products and the publisher’s business practices.

Bumping this as a reminder NYT leans hard on revenue from their puzzles, games, Wirecutter etc to fund their billionaire apologist headlines, contrarian Op-Ed take havers, and iffy/yikes livetweeting style of journo
Alternatives to NY Times Games & Puzzles 🧵

If it bothers you that your passive games subscription and clicks to the NYT Games cartel is funding their awful OpEd army and "journalism," there are a wealth of puzzle/game options less iffy/yikes complicit, and many are direct clones to your NYT faves.

every few years it's revealed that the NYT was sitting on information about some horrific thing that public knowledge of would have changed the country's course and for some reason a ton of people still give them money. you can play those games on other sites

Fascism can't win without outlets like the NYT and WaPo continuously doing this.

Please stop sending money to these outlets. The bland, white-friendly recipes and word puzzles aren't worth it.

Fund @theflytrapmedia.com, or @unraveledpress.com, or any number of local independent journalists.

I got these keys at a flea market and now (IIUC) I need to try them out in various doors to see what I've won.

I didn't get to Mont Saint Michel this trip (sadly, I can't visit *every* time), but this book was just published *this month* and it's the best MSM book I have seen.

Had a slight mishap while in France.

Accidentally opened both a Mousse de Foie (pork) and a Mousse de Foie (duck) and now I'm forced to do a side-by-side taste comparison.

I was trying to avoid being all touristy while in Paris, and yet, here I am. In a crêperie. On the Seine. In the shadow of Notre Dame.

In my defense, there's not a lot open before 10am.

I'm surprised these games didn't fund immediately because Connor's got some clever things going on here.

In "That's the Spirit!", I particularly liked how the different distributions of the Cause of Death cards keep the hidden traitor aspect interesting.

Currently at ~75% with a week to go.

I'm not used to Euro plugs, so I see this as the Oink logo with something uncomfortable about to happen.

I don't think people fully appreciate the indignities being suffered by the gargoyles while Notre Dame is being repaired.

Don't think I've anticipated a KS more than this one! Connor is a talented designer & artist. Games executed well where the art + design are by the same person are rare but guarantee a seamless & full experience. Both games are amazing. Highly recommend you check these out.
