Sektori is spreading, like a cult in the shadows. There are cathedrals everywhere for those with the eyes to see.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

EXCLUSIVE: So far it's been unclear what proof Rockstar Games has to justify its firing of 34 union members, who it claims were leaking "confidential information in a public forum".

PMG has now seen some of the messages which contributed to this decision being made.

It just launched, I don’t see anyone talking about it, and it has only a handful of Steam reviews so I gotta say: Sektori absolutely rocks.

From an ex-Housemarque dev and if you love Resogun, Geometry Wars, etc. you need it in your life.

SEKTORI!!!
November 23, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Got an English degree, looked for jobs in publishing, came across a dev studio with that keyword in its title, realized I was a perfect fit. The recruiter liked that I’d been writing about gaming on the side of my retail job, and could sense I was passionate about the industry and driven.
What’s the lore behind choosing your career path ?

I can confirm Sektori has the sauce. The spirit of Housemarque lives on - it’s like playing something they would’ve released on PS3.

A game for people with TASTE.

Ubi please just take Chaos Theory but make new missions, it's the easiest money on the table. The foundation is right there.
Ubisoft being the absolute worst while also being in charge of Splinter Cell is painful.

I’ve been thinking that if (or really when) I’m next out of a job, I’ll be casting a net beyond just the games industry, with the long-term intention to return once things are in a healthier place.

It just doesn’t make any sense at all to be exclusively job-hunting within it under these conditions.
The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

I enjoyed what I played of Kirby Air Riders, which admittedly was not much, but I don't think I enjoyed it enough to justify a £60 purchase, and certainly not with Metroid around the corner.

"Gaming needs people willing to indulge a creator rather than an investor" is such a great line in the context of this game and the year in which it is releasing.
Though it can sometimes feel like a throwback, the new Switch 2 game harkens back to an era of fun.

It’s a low-cognitive-demand game. Very easy to pick up and engage with, even if your brain battery is empty. I’ve been struggling to play bigger games recently, and it was just what I needed.
I feel like the genius of Ball X Pit is that someone said ‘hey what if we made a roguelike but it was easy as shit. ’
