Cmt, at its early stages before bone parenting. Fc mates had used previous ‘posing tool’, were excited about a new one, so i tried it since i’d just gotten my first pc. For modding, it was creating a scar on facepaint for my miqo’te. Snowballed from there.

Refining! I start with blobs or a sketch and put down some experimental color and then refine as I go. Concept is sometimes clear as day, or not at all, and I will still refine it meticulously til it feels just right. Refining makes my brain feel good.
Artists, I think we're all too comfortable sharing our imposter syndrome.
I would love to see you step out of your comfort zone and confidently state what you think you're actually really good at.

Gotta learn basics before your own ‘style’ will come through. Emulating a certain style before you understand why artists make decisions for a certain style results in a hollow look and will make you feel equally as hollow. Your progress is being hindered by delaying learning basics or studying
