We urge David Lammy to immediately authorise a senior official to meet with the legal representatives of Heba Muraisi & Kamran Ahmed - both on prolonged hunger strike & at extreme risk of death.

Their representatives have repeatedly requested this meeting & it is now critical to prevent a tragedy.

The people of Iran deserve freedom, dignity, & protection from state violence.

The US & Israeli governments have caused great harm to Iranians and don’t have the best interests of the Iranian people in mind.

I think it's very important that Rupert Lowe's "Million Nonce March" gets widespread media coverage. Critical to amplify diverse voices.

It has become increasingly clear that X - a platform now actively producing explicit and abusive material against women and children - is not an appropriate platform to be using for our comms.

I will keep pushing for action from the govt & relevant authorities in this area.

If the Palestine Action hunger strikers die - which they could do at any moment, as they are now very close to the end - it will be the government that killed them. Today’s column explains why. Please share, and write urgently to your MP.

Let’s be clear: if the Palestine Action hunger strikers die, the government will bear moral responsibility | George Monbiot
The three remaining hunger strikers have been convicted of nothing. Yet with astonishing cruelty, ministers refuse to listen to their reasonable demands, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Yet another huge contract, awarded without any competitive bidding process, to Wes Streeting's favourite NHS supplier, the Hard Right US surveillance tech specialists Palantir, for military decision making capability.
Palantir lands biggest ever UK defense deal

On this & many other Trumpisms it's worth reading Victor Serge, writing about Stalin; "The new totalitarian methods for dominating the mind of the masses incorporate the devices of mainstream commercial advertising, amplified by violence and frenzied irrationality."
Trump: “I’m doing a magnificent, big, beautiful ballroom that the country has wanted…it’s bigger than I told you. It’s, you know, after realizing we’re gonna do the inauguration in that building. It’s got all bulletproof glass...”

What inauguration?

That is really only if you count Kraft 'cheese' as cheese.
‘In 1932, Wisconsin accounted for half of all US cheese production, with a great proportion of it controlled by a single company, Kraft. So it makes sense, in Pynchonworld, that behind everything must be a vast cheese conspiracy.’
